Decanter: Best Dry German Riesling Vintage 2012, Germany, 2014
http://schiller-wine.blogspot.ch/2014/1 ... ntage.htmlNeal Martin neuerdings für Oregon zuständig;
We're pleased to announce that Neal Martin will be taking over as our new Oregon reviewer for The Wine Advocate. It is anticipated that his first Oregon report will feature in the February 2015 Issue (Issue 217) of The Wine Advocate / eRobertParker.com. Neal commented on his new appointment:
"I am looking forward to covering the wines of Oregon for The Wine Advocate. I have admired Oregon's wines for many years, but still I thought long and hard before accepting since I wanted time to consider what I could contribute to the coverage of this important wine region. Having reviewed and written about Pinot Noir in depth not only in Burgundy, but also New Zealand, South Africa and Chile over the years, Oregon is a natural fit into my current portfolio. Once I have finished my assignments in Burgundy, I will set to work on visiting Oregon, not only to review the wines but to write about the region, the terroir and of course, the winemakers."
We are looking forward to Neal bringing an enormous amount of experience, insight and global context to our future Wine Advocate Oregon reviews. I hope everyone will join me in congratulating him on his new appointment!
