Former Cru restaurant owner Roy Welland is putting 100,000 bottles of wine on the auction block
Wednesday's Wine sale in London totalled £813,039 and attracted bidders from Asia to the Americas, with 25% of lots selling online. The appeal of great Burgundy and mature Bordeaux was evident throughout the sale.
The top lot was this 12-bottle Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Assortment case from the celebrated 1999 vintage, which sold for £25,850. Our next sale will be in London on 16 and 17 July, and features a Magnificent Bordeaux Collection.
