LWIN - a common language for fine wine
http://www.blog.liv-ex.com/2014/10/lwin ... -wine.html
During the temp controlled shipment of a wrapped pallet to a client, someone cut into the wrapping, unscrewed some of the wooden 3-packs and stole a total of 12 bottles. This was going from L.A. to Milwaukee, WI and appears to have made a stop in Chicago. Any of those locations (likely the first two) could have been where it took place...or anywhere in between of course. The authorities in all those cities are involved and I wanted to make sure the wine community was aware of the codes in case they were offered for sale privately. The 12 bottle have a bubble coded security system with the following numbers:
W61W00A014069
W61W00A010992
W61W00A010988
W61W00A026659
W61W00A026677
W61W00A026666
W61W00A022276
W61W00A022272
W61W00A027886
W61W00A027921
W61W00A011010
W61W00A011020
FYI- You can authenticate any bottle code on their website if so needed http://www.screamingeagle.com/authenticate
